Strongsville Soccer adheres mostly to the IFAB Laws of the Game, except where reasonably necessary for the best interest of recreational soccer. Specific rules for Strongsville Soccer can be found under the “Info” menu on this website.

We are always looking for volunteer coaches for our recreational teams. If you want to be a head or assistant coach, please register using the appropriate link under our website’s “Registration” menu. Our board is also comprised of volunteers, please contact us if you are interested in one of our board positions.

Registration

In the program’s best interest and to prevent the “stacking” of teams, we do not accommodate requests for players to be placed on specific teams, except for special needs players with special medical accommodations.

We are open enrollment, so any player from any city may play if they fall within the age requirements.

Please refer to the “Age Groups Table” under the “Info” menu on our website.

Please refer to the “Fee Schedule” under the “Registration” menu on the website.

Strongsville Soccer’s recreational soccer league, also known as the In-house league, is open to boys and girls who are both residents and non-residents of the City of Strongsville. The league is open to children aged 4 to 14 years. (Players must turn 4 years old by August 1st to play in the fall season and by April 1st to play in the spring season.)

Teams are typically finalized a week to two weeks before the start of the season, at which point coaches will reach out and introduce themselves and communicate practice days/times. You may check if your son/daughter has been assigned to a team, and if they have, who their coach is by logging into your TeamSnap account. Please understand that we cannot provide this information any sooner.

Schedules

Schedules are typically released at least one to two weeks before the first games. We cannot set schedules until teams are filled and coaching accommodations are met. Your coach determines practice days and times, and you will be notified through TeamSnap.

We have both fall and spring outdoor seasons. The fall season starts around Labor Day and ends by the end of October. The spring season starts in April and continues until late May, with a tournament weekend for ages U7 and up. There are no games on Labor Day weekend or Memorial Day weekend.

Games are typically held on Saturday mornings/early afternoons at the Ehrnfelt Soccer Complex. Ehrnfelt Soccer Complex is located on Foltz Industrial Parkway. Please consult your player’s schedule in TeamSnap for his/her specific field location. The field maps can be found on our website.

Teams typically practice once per week at local elementary schools or parks – your coach coordinates times and locations. Parents will be notified of practice schedules via TeamSnap.
