U6 Smurf Rules

• The games will be played on two side-by-side fields with 4 players vs. 4 players.  Teams will be split as coaches choose.

• The games will have 4 quarters, 10 minutes in duration.

• There is a 5 minute half time.

• No corner kicks.  All balls over the end line will be a goal kick.  Coaches are to instruct their players to give enough space to the player and the team taking the kick.

• There are NO GOALIES, please encourage players to go to the ball, rather than sit and wait near the goal.  No team may place a player that obstructs the goal.

• There are throw-ins, and they can be re-taken if player doesn’t use proper technique.

• No score will be kept.

• All players must play equally.

• Rainouts will be posted on the website Saturday morning 1 hr prior to game times.  www.strongsvillesoccer.com

• Remember, the goal is to have fun.

• Don’t forget the drink and snack schedule, that’s half the fun!
